Living in Dubai where English is the most spoken language, it is crucial to master it and Deaf people shouldn’t be an exception. Improve your English to boost your confidence on your everyday life , be able to write notes, emails and text messages and make new friends (Deaf and hearing) ,this course will help you achieve your objectives. It is designed for Deaf students from all backgrounds and it is customized to suit the needs of Sharjah’s Art for All Center students.

Our English course will help you develop your grammar, improve your reading, writing, and lip reading skills. In addition, emphasis will be placed on conversational communication skills such as lip reading as well as text messaging . Appropriate use of formality will be taught in order to achieve the best cultural understanding.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn English from an American Language Interpreter. For this customized course, you have the opportunity to finish levels A1.1 and A1.2 combined in one course. That means a rounded, more complete basic knowledge of the language.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Form simple sentences and phrases relating to every day topics in present

  • Ask and respond to simple questions especially when shopping and meet people

  • Form sentences based on simple past tense and vocabulary learned

  • Make simple sentences simple present and present continuous
