Best Of 2017
07-Jan

2018 is here, and some of us from the Pom-team would like to share the Best of 2017! We look at the future, and reflect on the past, and focus on the present.

Mariam Shibib:

2017 bestowed on us happiness, love & endurance. We thank our lucky angels for blessing our seeds of knowledge with sufficient sunlight to see them flourish and prosper. We embrace 2018 with hope, readiness, and a powerful agenda to equip our students with the latest knowledge bites, extraordinary skills, and motivational guidelines to be the best version of themselves.

Pomegranate has earned an honest & respectful name in the UAE and we are thankful to our students, partners & families for being with us on this exciting journey. Believe in good and you shall get it! Let us be your educational partner that truly teaches you what you wish to learn. We salute the Year of Giving and welcome the Year of Zayed and Intercultural Understanding. Our Sign a Sign Club will continue bringing together People of Determination & their friends. Special thanks to the exemplary leadership of this special country, our chosen home, for being our inspirational guide.

We hear you and we are on it! A happy, blessed & prosperous New Year from all of us here at Pomegranate Institute. Stay tuned- we’re just getting started.

Marie Alex Saaeva:

2017 is a year that brought an amazing team under one roof, we had good and bad days, but we made it. We made it as one team, which is getting stronger day by day. When we have things to celebrate we do it together, when someone is sad everyone shares that sadness. We are one team, one family. The Pom-family.

Tariq Khan:

For me 2017 came with a lot of surprises- good and bad, but mostly good. Everyone has something that they are crazy about and for me it has always been cars. I love cars for their look and feel.

To drive a car, I needed a license. I started my driving license experience and it took a decade of chasing. It started at the end of 2007, when I opened my driving license file. In 2008 I failed my driving test twice, and that demotivated me, so I closed the file. After some time, I decided to reopen my driving license file, but by the end of 2010 I failed again. I convinced myself that my passion can stay alive in my heart by just sitting at the passenger seat. Seven years later, in 2017, our CEO and Co-Founder encouraged me to restart the file. A few months later I got the driving license on the 1st attempt. Well, some people take days, weeks, months, years to follow their passion and I took a decade.

So, 2017 I love you.

Sarah Tabbara:

2017 was a big year for me. Career wise, education wise, and family wise. The highlight of my year was at the end of April and the beginning of May. I traveled for a week to Saudi Arabia to see a person I haven’t seen for 7 years. My grandmother. It was one of the most emotional trips I’ve had, and I came back to Dubai recharged. That week was a week filled with tears, memories, laughs, and lots of food. I loved it so much because when I was at my grandma’s house I did not only smell her, but I smelled Syria, and I smelled my mother. So, thank you 2017 for being good to me, and I’m looking forward to seeing what 2018 has planned.

2018- the Pom-Family is ready for you like never before!
