After just eight weeks in our Beginner’s class, you’ll be able to greet people and introduce yourself and family members, talk about your nationality, occupation, and work, ask, and answer simple questions about yourself and others. While linguistically, you will have begun to understand Chinese phonetics, tones, and rhythm, and understand how to read some basic simplified Chinese characters.
