IELTS Preparation Courses in Dubai

• This course is for non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities, where English is used as a language of communication
• It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9)
• Each university has its own IELTS requirements

What is the objective?

•  The main objective is to achieve the band that is required by the University

By the end of the course you will be able to :

• Recognise the different types of questions asked in IELTS tests
• Predict the main ideas in written texts
• Use skimming and scanning when reading for gist
• Understand the importance of coherence in both writing and speaking
• Use appropriate vocabulary and correct grammar
• Give a written description on any topic and write a formal essay
• Understand the intent of information provided in aural texts
• Recognise the different sections and requirements in the IELTS speaking test
• Introduce self and talk confidently on a topic 
• Answer questions fluently with clear pronunciation
• Use the appropriate grammar and vocabulary to express ideas
• Use stress and intonation in conversation

How long is the course?

• Group - 30 hours 
• Private - 20 Hours

Teaching and Learning Methods :

• All four skills (speaking, reading, listening & writing) are practiced in detail according to Cambridge English standards
• The main focus is on speaking where students are engaged in activities and pairwork according to the syllabus
• Debates that involve a logical thought process
• Roleplay
• Presentation of short talks
